Overall health and wellness are important to me but especially, my passion lies in body mechanics. During my time in the health and fitness promotion at Fanshawe College, I discovered my interests were in anatomy, physiotherapy and body mechanics. This passion has helped many of our clients with injuries they have had in the past due to improper form and overuse. Issues such as patella femoral pain (lateral knee pain), shin splints, plantar fasciitis, stiff neck syndrome, strains and sprains, and pulls.
My vast knowledge has assisted many clients in performing exercises better and more efficiently. It has given clients the confidence in working out by themselves as well as with other sports they play. My advice has helped others in their tennis and golf games as well.
I wasn’t always interested in health and fitness, in fact, I grew up having a very unhealthy lifestyle. I smoked, drank often, ate terribly, avoided taking gym classes and my sports started and ended in a baseball beer league. Later on in my life I developed an eating disorder and the only way I was able to overcome it, was by working out and eating healthy. I realized that I was able to stop purging once I ate healthy foods and exercised! It took a while, but eventually I was able to stop completely.
The last piece of the puzzle occurred when my mother passed away from Lung cancer. I knew at that time that I wanted to advocate health and fitness and help others achieve a healthier lifestyle. I believe in being realistic and taking things slowly. Small steps have always helped me and this is how most people change their lives.
My favourite part of this long journey has been being a part of some very emotional times with clients. We are there for their wedding planning, pregnancy, and goal achieving. We are also there during bad times, like weight gains and inner struggles. But most importantly, we are there for our clients.

My expertise in strength and flexibility training developed through coaching gymnastics and cheerleading. I’ve been motivating clients of all ages since 2015.
